Our Vision

Friends of the Labyrinth at Audubon Park

The Friends of the Labyrinth at Audubon Park will create and nurture this special
place so that all who journey there may experience an awakening of their divine
intuition and imagination.  Here, all are welcomed to walk.  May this Labyrinth
provide a quiet place of beauty, peace and renewal in the midst of our daily lives.

A gift to the community

        The Labyrinth at Audubon Park will be the first public community
        labyrinth in New Orleans.  It will provide a number of benefits.

• A setting of healing sacred place where people can gather together
• A place for individuals to commemorate important occasions in their lives
• An active private meditation path for shedding stress, releasing grief or celebrating joy.
• A unique place to serve school children and Park visitors
• A reconciliation resource for community groups in conflict
• A path designed for the physically challenged and wheelchair-bound
